The Arbor Philosophy
The Arbor is committed to providing a healthy balance of the mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being. To this end, the Arbor presents as our home. We have lots of comfortable recliners, lovely decor, and the same warm feeling you have when you open the door to your home. Our goal is for our clients to enjoy where they are and continue to be a productive member of society. We greet each of our clients at the door with a warm smile and a big hug - not everyone gets hugs on a daily basis and at the Arbor we feel it is a vital part of our being.

Engaging Activities, Professional Staff and Dependable Transportation
For half the hourly price of home health services, the Arbor offers companionship - socialization with peers, exercises, games, (i.e., cards, horse shoes, Bocci Ball, book reviews, current events, etc) and much much more. Plus you can always rely on us to be here, no worrying about whether an aide or nurse will show up. In addition we have a nurse, social worker/activity director and nursing assistants (for 1/2 the hourly price) to assist our clients on a daily basis. We offer showers for those who are unable to bath at home for no additional fee. As an added bonus we offer safe and dependable transportation and we work with our clients to establish pick-up and drop off times.

Our Purpose
We exist for one reason, to improve the life of our clients and their families. If your loved one is confused and/or physically incapicitated it creates a real hardship on you, the caregiver. The Arbor is here to help you help yourself. Just as they instruct you when you fly, you must take care of yourself before you can help another. By giving you a break, the Arbor helps you stay well, both physically and mentally. Where would your loved one go should you end up ill and/or in the hospital.
